Journyx CEO Curt Finch, writing for CIO.com, comments on how social media entities like Facebook are making their way into the Enterprise scene.  Finch points out the fact that the use of instant messaging, message boards and similar social communication all have value in the workplace, but that using these means of social communication could leave the enterprise vulnerable to outside threats.

Finch recommends that software developers come up with enterprise solutions that incorporate various means of social media communication, but with the security of enterprise software.

Social media has great value when incorporated into work place environments, allowing employees and clients to quickly and more conveniently share information while growing and expanding the business’ global footprint.
