In a sad turn of events, Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 is still missing after disappearing from radar screens Friday afternoon.  The authorities are still doing their best to locate the airplane, and now the general public are able to lend a helping hand.  According to the Wall Street Journal, two satellites have been sent by US satellite company DigitalGlobe to survey a wider area than previously searched, and they have uploaded all the images to Tomnod, a crowdsourcing site that specializes in having its users identify debris from accidents and natural disasters.

After DigitalGlobe published its first images on Monday, the site received more than 500,000 unique visitors in only 24 hours, overwhelming their servers and causing their site to go down.  About 100,000 users scanned the first images, allowing each pixel to be looked at over 100 times.

If you have a chance, head over to Tomnod and lend a hand in the search for the missing flight.
