A new Pew Research Center study shows that the majority of Facebook users (61%) have, at one point or another, deleted their accounts …only to return months, weeks, or even days later. The study also found that 20% of the online adults who do not currently use Facebook say they once used the site but no longer do so.

So what were the top reasons for these self-imposed Facebook vacations? Let's take a look:

According to Pew, “…most current users of Facebook say they expect their usage levels will stay about the same. But around one in four say they plan to cut back on their Facebook usage in 2013:” And odf that number, 38% of users aged 18-29 answered that they expect to spend less time on Facebook in 2013.
