25 million users have signed up for Google+ since its official launch. And that number is rising dramatically by the day. Now, users are taking it upon themselves to write enhancements with Chrome browser extensions. These extensions range from programs that add keyboard shortcuts to programs that change the whole layout, appearance and functionality of Google+. The added functionality from these extensions help to make the social networking site easier to read, easier to post and easier to access from Google Chrome.
CIO.com reports on the top 10 ways to enhance your Google+ account:
1. Google+ Manager: Adds a slew of keyboard shortcuts that give you immediate access to the functions of Google+
2. Google+ Tweaks: Modifies the layout to make it more compact, automatically re-sizing the main Google+ page to spread across the width of your Chrome browser window.
3. G+me: This extension does one thing: it collapses all posts in your Stream so that you only see a rundown of headlines that list each post’s author, the first several words of the first sentence, and a small red box with a number indicating how many comments have been made to the post.
4. G+ Tweet: This app allows you to Tweet and have Tweets re-posted to your Google+ Circles.
