There is no replacement for the perfect image. Whether you want to capture a moment or convey an emotion, you want those “thousand words” to fully encapsulate your intention.

Thus, it is no surprise that a recently engaged couple sought help to make their engagement photo slightly more ideal by removing a half-naked man to the couple’s left. The person they asked tried her hand at photoshopping the person out, but apparently had no luck.

However, instead of suggesting to the engaged couple that they hire an expert for the job, she decided to ask for assistance from a far less reliable source: the internet. Believe it or not, the results didn’t go as the couple planned:

This isn’t the first time public photoshop requests have been trolled – and it CERTAINLY won’t be the last. While the story produced some highly amusing results, the whole episode drives home one thing: if you don’t know Photoshop, have a solid quality control system in place or hire an expert (like OPUSfidelis!). Otherwise, you will get your photoshopped images – just probably not how you were hoping they would look.

Request: Please improve this photo without using any cheap effects.
